Personal Donation/Individual Support
Financial donations provide direct and immediate support, usually in the form of cash (via credit card, check or money order). YMS is a charitable tax exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3). Please consult with your personal accountant as to the appropriate charitable deduction. Thank you for your generosity. All gifts will be acknowledged with a personal note.
Honor and Memorial Gifts are a thoughtful and caring way to celebrate a special person or occasion, such as a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or graduation or to remember a loved one.
In Honor Of/Celebration Of
Do you have a special event coming up? Or want to celebrate someone’s life in a meaningful way? Giving a gift in honor of a birthday, wedding, special occasion or in memory of a loved one is a special way to pay tribute to that special someone while supporting the Mission of Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County. It is also a great way to make your birthday, wedding or other special occasion meaningful, by asking guests to send donations to Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County in your honor, rather than sending gifts or flowers.
In Memorial
If you are making a donation in honor or memory of a friend or family member, please include their name and address on the form so that we may notify them of your gift.
In Kind Support
Do you have tickets to an upcoming event that you do not plan to use? Or tickets that you just want to share with a Mentor/Mentee match? Children and youth active with Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County enjoy attending hockey and football games, plays, ice shows, the circus and other events. Even coupons to local restaurants and attractions can help make an exciting outing for a child who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend such an activity! Annual Summer Yard Sale
Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County holds an annual yard sale to help raise funds and to promote our presence in the community. We accept donations of gently used household items, small appliances, sports equipment, infant & youth clothing, and Holiday items in April/May, and from September through November. Should you wish to donate, please contact office prior to delivery of items.

Sponsor a Group Activity!
A donation of $500 can sponsor a group activity for up to 10 matches. Group activities are a critical part of our Program, allowing Mentors to meet and exchange stories, experiences and advice with other Mentors while mentees are enjoying an activity and meeting other mentees. They provide a wonderful opportunity for everyone to interact and develop a sense of camaraderie.
Adopt a Match!
With a donation of $1,000, you can help Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County establish and maintain the professionally supervised relationship between a Mentor (adult mentor) and a Mentee (the child with whom they are matched).

Nearly every day calls come in from those interested in finding a Mentor for a child. Your gift can make the difference in a child’s life by:
- Helping staff to recruit new volunteers
- Ensuring that trained professionals match children and youth to caring and responsible Mentors
- Providing age-appropriate, developmental interactive workshops for children
- Offering ongoing professional supervision and support for every match
